Growth Opportunities

Macedonia offers several opportunities for personal spiritual growth by way of regularly scheduled Sunday School classes, Worship Services, and Bible Study classes.

Sunday School*

Sunday School for adults is available every Sunday morning at 9 a.m. in the Sanctuary. This class is approximately one hour long, after which the Morning Worship Service begins.

Sunday School for children ages 12 and under is offered every Sunday morning at 10 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall. This class is approximately one hour long, after which the children join the Morning Worship Service.

CAYA (Come As You Are) Morning Worship Service*

Macedonia holds its CAYA Morning Worship Service every Sunday morning at 10 a.m. in the Sanctuary. All are welcome. Feel free to praise and worship God as the Holy Spirit leads you. We invite you to CAYA (Come As You Are) to Christ, but don’t stay as you are!

Bible Study*

Bible Study classes are offered for all ages every Wednesday evening at 7:30 p.m. These classes are designed to help participants learn about God’s Word and how to effectively apply it to their own lives.

Additional growth opportunities are available through our annual Vacation Bible School classes, special interest events, and conferences.

What to Expect

Visitors are welcome at the Macedonia Baptist Church. Below are answers to general questions that might be helpful on your visit with us:

Where should I park?

Parking is available on our parking lot as well as on the street.

How should I dress?

There is no particular dress code for our worship services and classes.  Our congregation consists of people from all different walks of life.  Jeans and t-shirts are as acceptable as suits or dresses.

Where should I take my children?

Macedonia is a child-friendly church.  Children ages 4 through 12 may attend the Sunday School class given in the Fellowship Hall from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m., at which time they join the Morning Worship Service.  Visitors, however, are free to keep their children with them for the entire Morning Worship Service.

Where do I sit?

We do not have assigned seating, but we ask that you follow the direction of the ushers to be seated.

How long does service last?

The Morning Worship Service lasts approximately 2 ½ hours, but it may vary depending on the movement of the Holy Spirit.
